About Masjid Al-Saleh | عن مسجد الصالح
Founded on the principles of peace, unity, and submission to the Creator, Masjid Al-Saleh serves the growing Muslim community in Oakland, California and the surrounding East Bay. We are one of the most welcoming mosques in Oakland, providing a warm environment for families, youth, and elders from all backgrounds.
تأسّس مسجد الصالح على مبادئ السلام والوحدة والخضوع للخالق، ويخدم المجتمع المسلم المتنامي في أوكلاند، كاليفورنيا ومنطقة الخليج الشرقية. ونحن من أكثر مساجد أوكلاند ترحيباً، نوفّر بيئة دافئة للعائلات والشباب وكبار السن من كل الخلفيات.
Our mission is to establish a vibrant Islamic center in Oakland that serves the spiritual, educational, and social needs of our diverse congregation while fostering understanding and harmony with our neighbors of all faiths across the Bay Area.

Yes. Masjid Al-Saleh is open to all — Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Whether you are a lifelong Muslim, a new convert (revert), or simply curious about Islam, you are welcome to visit, observe, or participate. Our doors are open to all of Oakland's diverse community.

Do you offer Quran and Islamic classes?هل تقدمون دروس القرآن والدراسات الإسلامية؟
We are preparing weekly Quran classes for children and adults, including Tajweed (proper recitation) and Hifz (memorization) programs, as well as youth programs and Islamic education for families. Email info@masjidalsaleh.org to be notified when enrollment opens, Insha'Allah.

You can donate online via Zelle or Stripe (credit card / Apple Pay / Google Pay). For cash donations, please hand your contribution in person to Brother Abdo at the masjid. 100% of donations go directly to supporting masjid operations and community programs in Oakland.
